Zombies confirmed in Call of Duty: Black Ops

Okay it's official - #CODBlackOps to have more Zombies! Also, #DerRiese coming to the iPhone & iPod Touch tomorrow.

JD_2020 has confirmed zombies in Call of Duty Black Ops. It was a pretty poorly kept secret and it would be hard to believe that they wouldn't include such a successful game mode that helped sell WaW copies and map packs.

Black Ops Zombie Video Leaked from Viral Website

Treyarchs viral website www.gknova6.com has been updated to look like a testing laboratory surveillance room, filled with surveillance cameras showing an outbreak of zombies on the camera.

Treyarch has not officially confirmed zombies will be within Black Ops but with the massive success that World at War had with zombies it is hard to imagine that Treyarch will not include zombies in some shape or form for Black Ops.

Treyarch hints at penalty for black ops players who quit out of games

Treyarch's design directory "Vahn" sent an update via twitter about having a record or log of everyone who doesn't finish the games they start. Players who are clearly leaving games will get smacked.

This is exciting news since MW2 was plagued with quitters in every gametype available. Now the only thing we are left asking is the exact opposite... When games are continuously disconnected and matchmaking fails, will Treyarch then get smacked?

• Free-for-All (FFA) (8 players, smaller maps)
• Domination (DOM) (12 players)
• Ground War (GW) (18 players, larger maps)
• Demolition (DEMO) (12 players)
• Sabotage (SAB) (12 players)
• Headquarters (HQ) (12 players)
• Capture the Flag (CTF) (12 players)
• Search and Destroy (SnD) (12 players)

Vahn mentioned that he was "still dialing this in" and also that there is a chance of expanding the playlists but he wants to make sure "these work out" first.

According to a post on the COD website, Treyarch is implementing features to prevent boosters and also using a reporting system to hopefully get cheaters & hackers banned by Microsoft.

We love Tac Insert. It does a few things for the game strategy. A well organized team of Tac Insert user can roll the competition in Demo. It's grand, really, and how it should be. Counter by organizing your own team of Tac Insert users and roll with Hacker.

It also solves a problem. A lot of you are super convinced you can make a better spawn system than we can. That's cool. So, here you go. Here is Tac Insert. Pick your own spawn point and stop yelling at me.

Trying to use Tac Insert but are getting Tac Insert spawned camped? Well, you probably deserve that but you can now cancel your own Tac Insert in the Killcam. That's new to Black Ops.

The main reason I am not as worried about Tac Insert as you? We can disable it. And, I just did for Free-For-All (hardcore and core) variants. It will still work in Private Matches in Free for All, but then you don't get XP in Private Matches so it can't be used for boosting.

The game has a reporting system. Report boosters and let's make examples of them. Once you lay the ban hammer on enough bad people word will get around that we don't take too kindly to this sort of thing.

Theater Mode Films & Clips able to be posted to the web COD Black Ops

JD from Treyarch has twittered that the new theater feature in Call of Duty Black Ops will allow you to post your clips to the web.  This is great news for those of you who don't have a capture card and want to share all those "zomg" moments with your friends:
